Bootcamp Fitness Auckland

Bettalifestyle NZ Outdoor Fitness is a locally owned fat and weight loss bootcamp in Otahuhu, Auckland. My goal is to help you in your journey to reach your weight and fat loss goals. I want to get you into the best shape of your life by providing you with simple tools.

You don’t even have to completely give up your current lifestyle or your social life!

You read and hear about all these places where you have to go on a diet and you hear people around you all the time saying “I need to go on a diet. Bettalifestyle NZ Outdoor Fitness is not going to put you on a diet, rather I will be helping you make a lifestyle change that is sustainable.

There is just no way you can get the sexy, lean and slim body without some type of sacrifice. The way you get there is a unique way that I will show you.

I know it isn’t fun to give up your current lifestyle to get in shape. I get that. That is what I hear from people all the time. “I don’t want to give up my social life or my current way of living so I can get the body I want. I rather just enjoy life instead of worrying so much about getting my dream body.”

Well, no you don’t have to give up your lifestyle. I’m not going to sugar coat it, but I will tell you one thing. You MUST put in hard work, time and dedication. Or you won’t get anywhere.

You will still be able to go out and eat at restaurants, you don’t have to eat like a cow and eat grass (one of my inside jokes which mean basically eating salad and greens all day), you will have the occasional cheat meal or dessert that you’ve been craving and even a drink every now and then.

What Makes Us Different?

How Are You Losing Weight?

We’ve seen the countless number of ads and pictures of people losing over 6, 10 or even 20 kilos in a month?
It’s great that they’re losing weight, but they’re doing it all WRONG. What they put you on is a low/no carbohydrate diet where all you get to eat are vegetables, meat, and more vegetables and meat!
You may think this is “healthy,” but indeed it is absolutely not!
The problem here is that your body prefers to use carbs as fuel, which is all the rice, bread, pasta and fruits you would normally consume on a daily basis.

Why Losing Muscle

What is really happening is that these people are losing water and muscle.
There will be a time where they hit a plateau and the weight will STOP dropping. It’s not physically possible to lose that much weight every month, if it was then weight loss wouldn’t be such a problem would it and if it was THAT easy then everyone should be able to do it.
What are you going to do then? Eat even less?

The less you eat the worse your metabolism gets. The worse it gets, the less fat is being burned daily.
Boost Metabolism

What’s wrong with losing muscle?

Muscle helps jump start your metabolism so you can the lose fat for good. To build muscle, you will need to be increasing the weight you are lifting over time or you won’t really be building anything at all, lifting 2kg dumbbells will get you nowhere.

Here is another problem with other Bootcamps, they don’t help you improve your strength!
They have long sets for each exercise so that your muscles get fatigued from exhaustion. This doesn’t allow you to increase the weight in incremental stages.

Hi everyone. Just about to start week 4 of the 6 week programme. (Halfway) My body is still adjusting to the changes but yes, there are changes! Paul and the ladies I train with give amazing support and some days, I have needed it more than other days. I thoroughly enjoy the work we do and it is different every session. Its not easy and yes some days hurt more than others but I am achieving my goals and proud of my achievements. If anyone wants to come and try it out, dont be shy! Loving it.

After joining Bettalifestyle Outdoor Fitness with Paul Uipo Tagaloasa I have improved my fitness so much, still work in progress. Early morning sessions have allowed me to feel confident of completing the Tongariro Crossing next month. I am able to carry out hill work ( Mangere Mountain) would not have been able to do this a couple of months ago. I totally endorse Paul as an instructor, his programmes are alway interesting and varied(training the whole body). He always offers encouragement and support when things get tough.
